Podcast Throwback Thursdays
Before Academics in the Wild (the community), there was Physicists in the Wild (the podcast). We're about to do a throwback series where every Thursday we drop a podcast episode from our archives into the inboxes of AITW Substack subscribers.

Meet & Greets
This month we started our Meet & Greets. We chatted as a group and touched on several interesting threads, including: entrepreneurship, accessibility in physics education & research, does a PhD open doors or close them, and the value of being part of multiple communities.
I look forward to having more of these inspiring discussions!
1-1 Coffee Chats
We also started our 1-1 Coffee Chats. We started off as a group to introduce ourselves, then split up into breakout rooms with a partner.
It’s still early days, but in my opinion, these 1-1 chats are the most valuable thing we’re doing at AITW!
Problem Solving Sessions
This month, we’ll be experimenting with a new kind of meeting. One of us takes 10 mins to present a problem they are feeling stuck on. The group then spends the rest of the call asking questions, brainstorming, and giving feedback. More info here.
